Applications for 2027 open 1 August 2026.

We are currently only accepting applications for Trimester B 2026

This is where you come to apply for accommodation, accept your offer of place in our accommodation and make payments while you live here.

Applying for Accommodation

At the University of Waikato - students create one user account that can be used for enrolment and accommodation.

Summer Accommodation

Please click on the link below if you are applying for accommodation over summer (beg November 2025-early February 2026)

Once you have created a University of Waikato account you can go ahead and complete your accommodation application.
- Answer the questions as best you can.
- You can save it and come back to your application at any time.

We will then consider your application.
- If we require any additional information we will contact you.

All successful applicants will be sent an offer (via email).

To secure your place, you are required to accept your offer.
- Accept the online contract - pay the required deposit / Admin fee.

Closer to arrival, you will be sent additional information which includes a Payment Agreement.
